Cardboard Dreams: for bombard and piano - Àngel García Martínez

"Somnis de Cartó" was born from respect and admiration towards the figure of the Insignne Artist Fallero born in Benifaió regino more.

Through this piece, originally composed of Clçaina Valencian and Piano, we will travel two moments of Regino's life.

In the first of them, "Somnis de Cartó", we will know a child with an overflowing imagination. A child who after attending a bullfighting show drawn sketches without stopping in his room in the light of the candles changing the head of the bullfighters by slidekins. A child who admired the faults, particularly and in general, and imagined them in a different way than the rest of the world.



The second moment we will travel, "Rondó del Foc", a creator genius of more than 70 faults, winner of 22 first prizes, 12 to "ingenuity and grace" and 5 ninots indultats, work his magic in a workshop in which the Tradition and innovation shake hands.



"Somnis de Cartó" is dedicated to Lara García Mahiques, a pupil of Bomardino del Center D 'Estudis Musicals de Benifaió. Lara loves music and the euphonium and is one of those people who, without knowing, always put a touch of color in life. Gràcies Lara!
