One of the standout features is the new leadpipe designed by Chuck Nickles (former US Army Band, Europe), which optimizes immediacy in tone production and improves tonal stability. Despite its 6/4 size, the Prokofiev is surprisingly lightweight due to its artisanal process, allowing comfortable control even during long practice sessions.

The valves are made of vented stainless steel, facilitating smooth and precise legato. All slides are nickel for increased durability, while the engraved buttons with the Wyvern logo add a distinctive finish typical of the professional Wessex range.

Each unit undergoes an individual quality control before leaving the factory, ensuring a very high standard of reliability and performance. It includes a hard case with latches and a Wessex CHUCK mouthpiece specifically designed for this model.
