The Wessex TC695 “Chicago York” CC 6/4 – 50 cm Bell is an evolution of the classic design of the Chicago York, conceived to offer a broader, deeper sound with greater presence in large spaces. Its oversized bell increases projection without losing control or uniformity in the response.

Made entirely by hand, it incorporates a hand-hammered bell and large bows that help stabilize intonation. The neck, designed by Chuck Nickles, provides a direct and balanced emission, favoring precise control even in demanding dynamics.

The vented piston system provides quick action and extremely clean legato, maintaining the typical reliability of the Wessex range. Despite its 6/4 size, it remains lightweight, making it easy to handle during rehearsals and extended performances.
