Yamaha Euphonium YEP842TS Custom

The 842TS model features a completely new tube design aimed at achieving an immediate and comfortable response. The included EP-53DL mouthpiece is designed for perfect integration with the YEP-842TS euphonium. The first tube includes a new bow protector, which not only protects the instrument but also adds definition and clarity to the sound. The more comfortable shape and arrangement of the finger supports facilitate technical execution. Additionally, Yamaha's exclusive water key captures any condensation or oily substance that may come out of the lower piston.

A trigger system on the main slide allows Yamaha's YEP-842TS euphonium to offer precise control of tuning.

A trigger system on the main slide provides precise tone control as well as a solid tone. The lever plate can be pressed during a performance to move the main slide tuning slide downward, lowering the pitch by a precisely controlled amount. Release the lever plate, and the tuning slide returns to its original position. To tune the instrument before a performance, loosen the base screw of the bar so the main slide can be positioned as needed. Then tighten the screw to place the trigger rod in the desired position.
