The Gonzalez GD cane model is made of a classic French system cutting rod. They are manufactured with a thicker blank and the rod differs from those of Clarinete standard in which the Gonzalez GD cane is larger in diameter, same cut as the already well-known V12 rods Vandoren. They are more durable and vibrant rods since they have a longer area of scraping and more wood in the heel.
Both features, which will surprise the performer by knowing these reeds, will help completely in the production of this or this one of a deeper and rounder sound. They are the first reeds with Filed Cut of this brand.
