ZO Little Dragon Euphonium ZEU-800L lacquered

A compact Bb travel euphonium with Rose Brass leadpipe

The ZO Little Dragon ZEU-800L Lacquered Travel Euphonium is designed for musicians who want the playing possibilities of a Bb euphonium in a significantly more compact format. Its travel-oriented construction reduces the instrument's overall dimensions, making it easier to transport and store.

With a height of just 395 mm and a weight of 2.75 kg, the Little Dragon is particularly interesting for students, musicians who travel frequently and euphonium players who need a second instrument for practising away from home.

This model features 4 pistons, providing the fingering options associated with a four-piston euphonium. Despite its reduced dimensions, it retains all four pistons, offering additional fingering possibilities compared with a three-piston instrument.

One of its distinctive construction features is the Rose Brass leadpipe, made from a brass alloy with a higher copper content than conventional yellow brass. The leadpipe forms the initial section of the instrument's air path and is an important part of the ZEU-800L design.

The 223 mm bell and 15 mm bore complete the specifications of this compact euphonium. Its lacquered finish provides a traditional appearance, while the included mouthpiece and soft bag make it convenient to use and transport.

Benefits of the ZO Little Dragon ZEU-800L Travel Euphonium

The main advantage of the ZO Little Dragon is its compact format. At only 395 mm tall, it is easier to store and transport than a conventional euphonium, making it particularly useful for musicians who travel or have limited storage space.

Its 2.75 kg weight also makes regular transportation more convenient. It is a practical option for taking to lessons, rehearsals or practice sessions when carrying a traditional full-size euphonium would be less comfortable.

The four pistons maintain a familiar fingering configuration for regular euphonium practice. In addition, the Rose Brass leadpipe provides a distinctive construction detail within an instrument designed to occupy less space.

The included soft bag complements its travel-focused design. Players can use this compact alternative for practising and maintaining regular contact with the instrument while away from their usual practice location.
