ZO CC tuba Thunderbird 6/4 - Satin Finish

The ZO Thunderbird 6/4 Satin CC Tuba is a large-format model designed for musicians seeking a broad, deep, and highly stable sound, with powerful and controlled projection. Inspired by the legendary Chicago York models, this satin-finished version offers a very interesting balance between sound presence and warmth, maintaining the imposing character typical of the 6/4 format.

The 48 cm bell provides a homogeneous response and great projection capacity, while the satin finish on yellow brass contributes to a more natural and direct sound sensation. The result is a broad and well-defined tone, with solid bass and excellent integration in demanding orchestral contexts.

The system combines 4 front stainless steel pistons with a 5th rotary valve, providing precise, comfortable, and reliable mechanics across the entire range. The progressive tubing from 19.4 to 21 mm promotes a stable air column, allowing for a smooth and controlled emission even in wide dynamics and dense passages.
