Wessex CC travel tuba Backpack - Mighty gnome TC161

The C Tuba Wessex Tornister – Mighty Gnome TC161 is a true travel tuba designed to offer the real tuba experience in an extremely compact format. It is part of the exclusive "Tornister" range by Wessex, inspired by historical tubas used by military bands before motorized transportation.

Recommended Uses

The Wessex Mighty Gnome is especially suitable as a travel tuba, as its size allows for easy transport by plane, public transportation, or even motorcycle or bicycle. It is also an excellent choice as a lightweight tuba for standing concerts or performances on the move.

Due to its ergonomics and dimensions, it is ideal for children who want to start directly with the tuba without first transitioning through the baritone horn, as well as for musicians with physical limitations who need a manageable instrument.

Additionally, its size makes it perfect for small ensembles where a full-size tuba could overly dominate the musical texture.
