Wessex CC Tuba Wyvern 5/4 lacquered 4+1 pistons TC590P

The Wessex CC Tuba Wyvern 5/4 TC590P-GB  is the lacquered version of the Wyvern series, designed to offer a warm, round tone with excellent projection thanks to its handmade Gold Brass bell. This type of brass, richer in copper, provides greater tonal depth and wider resonance, ideal for musicians seeking a flexible sound with darker nuances.

Its 5/4 size provides a solid yet manageable sound, allowing a natural airflow that maintains the instrument's stability even in wide dynamics. The combination of handmade Gold Brass bell and lacquered finish promotes smooth articulation, giving a more musical and less aggressive character than the silver-plated version.

The system of 4 front pistons and 1 rotary cylinder offers precision in tuning and very effective control in the low register. The nickel leadpipe ensures smooth airflow and consistent response throughout the instrument. Additionally, the reinforcement with nickel plates and direct rotary linkage ensure robust and reliable mechanics during intensive use.
