ZO CC tuba Thunderbird 6/4 - Lacquered - 48cm Bell

The Laurel BBb 4/4 Professional Tuba is a model with a large bore designed for musicians looking for a deep and warm sound with wide projection. Inspired by the classic Chicago York models, this version features a lacquered finish that provides a smoother and rounder tonal character, while maintaining the characteristic power of the 4/4 format.

The 16-inch bell offers a balanced and stable response, while the lacquered finish on yellow brass contributes to a warmer resonance and a slightly darker timbre compared to its silver-plated counterpart. The ensemble provides a dense and homogeneous sound, ideal for orchestral situations where a compact and well-integrated low register is required.

The system combines 4 front-action pistons made of stainless steel with a 5th rotary valve, resulting in precise, comfortable, and reliable mechanics across the entire range. The progressive bore of 0.764 to 0.827 inches promotes a stable air column and controlled emission in a wide dynamic range.
