Wessex F travel tuba TF135 Bubbie

The Wessex TF135 Bubbie Travel Tuba in F is an innovative instrument designed to offer the true tuba experience in an extremely compact and portable format. Thanks to its exclusive engineering, it combines ease of transport with a surprisingly wide and resonant response.

This model has been developed for musicians who need to practice, travel, or play with a lightweight instrument without compromising sound quality. Despite its small size, the Bubbie 5 maintains a warm, balanced, and stable sound in all registers.

The 5 rotary valves configuration provides smooth fingering and precise tuning. By default, the instrument operates in F, using the fifth valve as a descending tone to achieve a full chromatic extension in the low register.

The conversion to E-flat is quick and easy thanks to the additional pumps included, allowing you to adapt the instrument to different musical needs and offering excellent response in both tunings.

At just 54 cm in height and 3.25 kg in weight, this travel tuba is compact enough to be carried as cabin luggage on a plane. Its size is even smaller than that of many euphoniums.
