The innovations of 2012 include wood rings with integrated magnets. Therefore, the Sordine is now lighter (from 1.2 kg), easier to use and offers a range of tone wider than the previous model. In addition, this model includes some novelties: a smooth foam ring for practice, a wavy foam ring for concerts and three supports with two different distances. Thus, the individually desired tone can be achieved.
