Plastic kazoo BM

A Kazoo is not a wind instrument in the conventional sense, but belongs to the group of membraphones. It is not blow, but it is sung, as in the ancient comb technique. He sungs against a membrane that distorts the sound with his vibrations. The tone depends exclusively on the note that is singing. In the 1920s, there were already Kazoo orchestras. At that time, the instrument was also used as a melodic instrument, but nowadays the Kazoo is rather an instrument of effects.

Kazoos are manufactured with different materials. Each material has its own sound characteristics; The metal kazoos sound brighter and stable than the plastic version, cheaper.
